Key Responsibilities
- Prep Cook - Grill Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain grill stations; keep area clean, safe, and in good working order.
- Food Preparation: Prepare grill-centric items (meats, vegetables, etc.) following recipes and presentation standards.
- Quality Control: Monitor quality and freshness; ensure consistency and great taste.
- Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain sanitary workspaces; prevent cross-contamination; follow health and safety guidelines.
- Inventory Management: Assist with ordering, receiving, and storing grill supplies.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with kitchen staff and other areas to ensure timely meal production and service.
- Compliance: Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and venue policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Grill Cook, Line Cook, or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Knowledge of grilling techniques and equipment.
- Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
- Strong understanding of food handling and sanitation standards.
- Good communication and teamwork.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity for handling food and equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry kitchen supplies and equipment.
