SGA Lists is seeking energetic, reliable, and experienced bartenders to join our team for this iconic event. As a bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests while serving a variety of beverages in a fast-paced and high-energy environment. You will play a key role in ensuring an enjoyable experience for attendees while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests according to standard recipes and event specifications.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest needs and requests promptly and politely.
- Monitor guest consumption and ensure that alcoholic beverages are served responsibly in accordance with local laws and regulations.
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies, including ice, glassware, napkins, and garnishes.
- Operate the cash register, process payments, and provide change accurately.
- Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning up spills and maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and provide a seamless guest experience.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after the event.
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending experience required; experience working at large events is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of various beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine.
- Ability to handle high-stress situations and a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be at least [age requirement based on state laws] years old and able to serve alcohol.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs., and work in a crowded, dynamic environment.
- Must have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a team-oriented mindset.
- TIPS (or similar) certification preferred but not required.
