Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Barback to support our bartending team and help ensure efficient bar operations. The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. As a Barback, you will keep the bar fully stocked, maintain cleanliness, assist bartenders during service, and help deliver an excellent guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, ice, and other bar supplies.
- Refill ice bins and replace kegs as needed.
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and sanitized throughout each shift.
- Collect and wash glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
- Remove trash and recycling and maintain clean work areas.
- Assist bartenders with opening and closing duties.
- Ensure inventory is stocked and notify management of low supplies.
- Help receive and organize deliveries.
- Follow all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
- Support the team to provide prompt and friendly customer service.
Qualifications:
- Previous barback or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable standing, walking, and moving throughout an entire shift.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must meet the minimum legal age requirements for handling alcohol in accordance with local laws.
