We are currently seeking licensed and experienced Event Security Professionals to join our team in Philadelphia.
Primary Purpose of Role
We are recruiting Philadelphia-licensed and experienced Event Security Professionals to help ensure safe, secure, and enjoyable events. Working collaboratively with fellow team members, you will play a crucial role in event execution, delighting guests, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism.

The Role As an Event Security Professional, you will:
- Carry out the duties of event security and protect people, property, and assets.
- Provide a visible security presence at events.
- Monitor and control access and egress into the venue and events.
- Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external guests at all times.
- Assist with emergency evacuation procedures as required.
- Manage crowds and queues effectively.
- Follow company and site-specific policies, procedures, and instructions.
- Complete security logs and incident reports as required.
- Be willing to work overnights, evenings, and weekends.
- Represent the team and promote a positive image at all times.
- Undertake company and site-specific training as required.
- Adhere to company and venue professional standards while on duty.
- Perform other duties commensurate with the role.
Requirements Candidates must meet all of the following criteria:
- Security Guard experience; a license is preferred.
- Professional approach to work.
- Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong command of English (written and verbal).
- Confidence and ability to handle difficult situations with effective de-escalation.
- Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Pride in appearance and representing SGA at all times.
- Flexibility and willingness to work on short notice (days, nights, evenings, and weekends).
Preferred Qualifications (not required but beneficial):
- Valid security licenses or certifications specific to Philadelphia.
- Prior experience at sports, entertainment, or large-venue events.
- First aid or CPR certification.
