SGA Lists is recruiting Food Service Workers for Savannah Bananas games at the University of Iowa (Iowa City) on July 3 and July 4.
Role overview: Join a fast-paced, high-energy team to deliver exceptional food service in a fan-first environment. You’ll prepare and serve food and drinks, maintain a clean and organized work area, and help ensure a fun, safe, and memorable experience for fans.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve customers quickly, accurately, and with a friendly, enthusiastic attitude.
- Maintain correct serving temperatures and portion control.
- Provide customers with information about ingredients, availability, and pricing.
- Keep assigned work areas clean and organized; assist with dishwashing and overall sanitation as required.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements and skills:
- Prior experience as a Food Service Worker or in a similar role preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and portion control.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; strong teamwork and multitasking skills.
- Positive, “fans first” attitude and willingness to contribute to a fun, energetic atmosphere.
