Hours: Will Vary due to event times.
Current needs are 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM and 12:00 -8:00 PM
Schedule: 3–4 days per week, choose your days (availability must include some weekend or event days)
Age Requirement: Must be at least 20 years old to lead on-site hospitality at events
About the Role: We are seeking motivated On-Site Hospitality Interns to manage and coordinate hospitality operations at live events in Saratoga Springs and the Capital District. This internship is ideal for individuals pursuing careers in events, hospitality, sports management, or client relations. You will gain hands-on experience overseeing guest services, team coordination, and on-site logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on-site hospitality operations during events (check-in, guest experience, VIP areas, and general service flow).
- Supervise temporary staff, assign duties, monitor performance, and provide feedback.
- Manage and respond to inquiries, and resolve issues promptly to maintain a high-quality experience.
- Collaborate with event staff, vendors, and security to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate event logs, attendance records, and post-event debrief notes.
- Support additional event-related activities as needed (registration, sponsor areas, merchandise, etc.).
Qualifications:
- Must be 20 years old or older; relevant certifications (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) are a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to lead a team, delegate tasks, and maintain composure in fast-paced environments.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability.
- Flexible with schedule; capacity to travel to Saratoga Springs and the Capital District for multiple events per week.
- Prior hospitality, events, or customer service experience preferred.
- Valid local driver’s license or reliable transportation is a plus (if on-site travel is required).
- Basic computer skills (MS Office or Google Workspace) for reporting and scheduling.
