SGA Lists is hiring Cashier/Concessions Workers for Savannah Bananas Games in Iowa City, July 3 and July 4.
Role overview Join the SGA Team and contribute to an exciting, high-energy game-day experience. As a concessions cashier, you’ll deliver excellent customer service, handle transactions, and assist with food service operations while upholding food safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests, take orders, process payments, and issue receipts at the register.
- Perform multiple concessions roles as needed (cashier, runner, food plating, cleaning, restocking, inventory counting).
- Prepare and portion food according to health and safety procedures.
- Check IDs for age-restricted items when applicable.
- Replenish serving stations and maintain clean, organized work areas.
- Clean dishes, fountain equipment, counters, tables, and other equipment.
- Monitor and assist with inventory; help prepare product orders as necessary.
- Ensure sanitation procedures meet local licensing regulations.
- Escalate guest concerns to management as needed.
- Collaborate with team to deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service.
Work environment and physical demands
- Working location: stadium concessions stations on game days.
- Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and carrying up to ~30 lbs.
- Fast-paced environment requiring teamwork and adaptability.

Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or concessions preferred.
- Ability to work a fast-paced environment; strong customer service skills.
- Basic math and cash-handling abilities.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Salary and benefits
