Overview We’re assembling a high-energy, customer-focused Concessions Attendant team for the US Open at Shinnecock Hills. Be part of a championship atmosphere, collaborating with a supportive crew to ensure flawless service across all concession venues.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to specifications.
- Ensure food safety and proper storage of all products.
- Monitor, stock, and restock food/beverage items in customer-facing areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of workstations and equipment.
- Perform opening, closing, and side-work duties; support other tasks as needed.
- Adhere to all safety, handling, and venue policies.
Requirements
- Age 18+; at least 1 year of serving experience.
- Weekend availability; event dates week-long.
- Own attire (shirts provided for the season; employees must supply other clothing as requested) and reliable transportation.
- Smartphone with access to event apps.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions; lift up to 25 pounds.
Qualifications
- Fine dining or upscale service experience a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to understand and follow directions and work cooperatively with others.
- Availability leading up to and during the event.
