Job Summary:

Duties:
- Prepare and serve a diverse selection of beverages, including cocktails, wines, spirits, and craft beers, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests warmly to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings to enhance their experience.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and assisting with beverage recipe development.
- Handle cash handling responsibilities diligently, including processing payments and giving accurate change.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy hours or special events such as banquets or catering functions.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably with fine dining or banquet experience.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipes, wine varieties, spirits, and craft beer trends.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse customer needs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding for inventory management, and food safety awareness.
- Previous experience in food service or retail environments is highly desirable to ensure smooth operation during events or peak hours.
